About Linda While growing up in Connecticut, Linda Calhoun was fascinated with the arts, sciences and technology. Determined to create a career based on these interests, Linda studied hard in school and headed to college where she earned a degree in Communications. Starting her professional life as a public relations assistant, Linda began a journey that would include planning fine-art events for the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs; developing public databases and policies for the state government of Connecticut; and working as a consultant in foreign affairs for The World Bank. As a result of her many vocations, Linda has traveled across the United States and lived around the world, spending time in countries such as Kyrgyzstan, South Africa and France. She currently serves as the Executive Producer for Career Girls; works as the co-founder, along with her husband Ed, of the EL Films production company; and is an established, independent artist.
