Watch Michelle Hoffman who works in the hospitality business as a revenue manager for the leisure side of Marriott and Renaissance hotels, working with numbers, budgets and projections. She calculates the right price to make sure rooms are selling, and then sells rooms on channels like Expedia and Priceline. She also works on packages and promotions. She loves figuring out how to make the hotel most profitable, when it’s going to be busy, and ensuring service and staffing levels are correct. Michelle advises girls to be financially dependent and able to take care of themselves.
