Watch Sarah Koehler, a Senior Research Scientist at Toyota Research Institute. She and her team work on designing the algorithms that program the actions of self-driving cars. The most rewarding part of her job is working together with a group of smart people to find solutions to problems. Sarah says that girls should consider a career in mechanical engineering because there are so many interesting opportunities and ways to contribute. Her advice to girls is to be true to yourself and not let others define who you are.
