Bonnie Mwanda

After working as a Power Engineer for two and a half years, Bonnie Mwanda realized that her true calling was to serve as an educator. She taught Math at the middle- and high school levels for 13 years, and is currently the Intervention Coordinator at Heritage High School, where she coordinates the supports necessary for ALL students to experience success. At HHS, that includes a school supply closet, food pantry, clothing closet, three mentoring programs, peer tutors, and more! Bonnie is excited to join the Career Girls team and looks forward to helping the program reach even greater heights!

Three things I have learned from Career Girls: “One, that women can do anything, two, never give up and three, we are strong, intelligent and we have the power to change the world by working in the fields that we are passionate about.” – Isobel, Student

“I really believe that people are all planted with the seed of I am here to do something great.” – Claudia Rinaldi, Career Girls Role Model
