Helena Lee

Helena is a rising freshman at the University of Washington. She volunteered at CityTeam and Health Trust to facilitate the distribution of hot meals and groceries to people in need of them. She helped build a contraption that filters particles from the Yellow River in Ningxia, China to provide cleaner drinking water for the townspeople of the Tongxin Village. She believes writing can amplify the voices of marginalized or underrepresented communities and is excited to make a positive impact with Career Girls.

Three things I have learned from Career Girls: “One, that women can do anything, two, never give up and three, we are strong, intelligent and we have the power to change the world by working in the fields that we are passionate about.” – Isobel, Student

“I really believe that people are all planted with the seed of I am here to do something great.” – Claudia Rinaldi, Career Girls Role Model
