Lorena King is a Live Events Producer working in a large Tech Company in Silicon Valley. She is passionate about education, equality and her Latinx heritage. She graduated at the top of her class with a B.A. in Multimedia Communications from Academy of Art University. She is a U.S. Army veteran and her career has led to work in production, media, government and tech. Lorena is in the process of establishing a non-profit organization, offering scholarships and mentoring to women and people of color.

Kia Dolby is the owner of Kia Dolby Creative, a communications studio that specializes in branding, design, and marketing. Kia’s specialty is helping businesses and organizations connect with their customers through compelling content, great design, memorable messaging, email marketing, and social media. Kia has over twenty years of experience. She began her career working in marketing and design for several Atlanta-based marketing firms. She’s worked for fortune 500 companies including IBM and AT&T, and the consumer goods company, Plaid Enterprises, a national manufacturer of products in the craft, DIY, and décor products.Kia attended Florida A & M University, where she studied design with a secondary emphasis in magazine writing, and Temple University. She loves sharing her insider’s view on design, creativity, entrepreneurship, and marketing. She used her diverse experience to launch Kia Dolby Creative. Kia Dolby Creative works with businesses and organizations of all sizes from solopreneurs to mid-sized businesses. Her work includes creating email campaigns for retail and online businesses, designing graphics for events, and creating websites for coaches and entrepreneurs. When not working, she enjoys traveling, vegetarian cooking, home decorating and spending time with her husband, three boys, and dog, Zeke.

“I am a 15 year old entrepreneur! I design, make, and sell my handmade greeting cards, stickers, notepads and more. I also offer custom calligraphy services and invitational services. I love hand- lettering, modern calligraphy, photography, and digital design! I have sold my products at several business fairs, and I currently sell in one storefront. I am based out of Virginia and love traveling and running along with lettering.”
