Supplies:
- Ping pong ball
- Toilet paper/paper towel rolls
- Plastic cup
- Pipe cleaners
- Masking tape
- Construction paper
Video Discussion:
Tell the students they will be watching the video Overcoming Obstacles. Explain that the video presents role models sharing ways that they have learned to overcome the obstacles that they have encountered.
Invite students to share about obstacles that they have encountered in their lives and what steps they’ve taken to overcome them.
Activity Instructions:
Using the materials, create your obstacle course in whatever design you like. Get creative!
The goal is to get the ping pong ball to go through the entire course. If it stops in a certain spot, make adjustments in your design until the ball eventually goes through.
