Bio
Watch Dori Jacob, casting director and associate producer at the Marin Theatre Company, share how it is her job to create the perfect match between performers and the rest of the creative team at her theater. Having an active imagination and a curiosity to know people are two of her skills from childhood that she credits for being successful in her career. Her goal for the future is to become an artistic director and run her own artistic company. Her advice to girls is to trust yourself and speak up, but also learn to be a good listener. She also offers some great auditioning tips, encouraging girls to take as many auditions as they can in order to hone their skills and be noticed.
