Watch Cindy Erickson, Regional Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Red Cross St. Louis, share how there are no “typical days” in her job and that the most rewarding part of her work is being able to give people the opportunity to help others in a time of crisis. One of her favorite memories is of keeping her office open all night and responding to a fire call with her Disaster Action Team during a major snowstorm that shut down most of the city. Fortunately all were safe, and her crew was able to provide much welcomed assistance and shelter to the families.
