Welcome to the 2022 Career Girls Web3, Blockchain, and NFT Virtual Camp. From November 17 – 19, campers learned about the exciting world of Web3 from women experts in this cutting-edge industry. Girls learned about blockchain technology, decentralization, token-based economics, and the world of NFTs. Girls discovered how brands are starting to tap into the various applications of Web3, explored the world of NFTs and art, and discovered how to create blockchain technology from a research and development perspective.

Beth is SVP Global Client Solutions at Media Futures Group, a bespoke agency solution for Google. As a global team powered by EssenceMediacom and GroupM, Media Futures Group delivers strategic, creative and data-driven media to drive brand and business outcomes. Beth’s team is responsible for managing Business Operations across North America, EMEA, and Asia Pacific.
Beth previously led Operations and Client Services for Essence Global’s Experience practice, delivering custom media, creative solutions, and innovation projects for clients.
Prior to joining EssenceMediacom, Beth worked at the creative agency R/GA in New York and London, and Scholastic Books.

Aisha Arif is a lover of all things art and the Community Marketing Lead at MakersPlace, a pioneering company for buying and selling fine digital art in the form of NFTs. Through her work at MakersPlace, Aisha aims to bridge the gap between traditional fine art spaces, technology and the blossoming NFT ecosystem as a means of empowering digital creativity for all. Aisha studied Psychology and Public Policy at University of California, Berkeley and is a passionate writer. She is a dog, cat and soon to be human mom and loves making/enjoying art of all forms in her spare time.
Blockchain Research & Development
I’ve been working in the blockchain space for the past two years although I’ve been programming since I was about 12. In this time, I worked at an early stage startup on education tools, advised for crypto climate projects, and engaged in research on cryptographic automation and SMS based blockchain implementations. At the moment, I’m developing my technical skills in AI and exploring climate tech while of course learning from some incredible people like you!
