Watch Jean Hammond, angel investor and serial entrepreneur share how she became a successful businesswoman, and why she started Golden Seeds, an early stage investment company. Golden Seeds focuses on early stage funding to women-led companies only, because companies which have women in leadership roles make better decisions and are more profitable. She also co-founded LearnLaunch Accelerator, which helps education technology start-ups find funding, mentors, coaching and other tools to become successful. She is on MIT's Board of Directors and served as a judge in MIT's Inclusive Innovation Competition 2016. Her advice to girls who want to be entrepreneurs is to pick subjects that you are good at in school and become great at them.
