Watch Sudesh Kent, an Assistant Director of Global Manufacturing with General Motors. She leads a global team in making sure that materials are delivered to the right locations to keep production running smoothly. She finds the most rewarding part of her job is being part of a team working together to solve problems and reach common goals. Sudesh believes that girls should consider careers in manufacturing because it’s an exciting field with a lot of different roles to fill and room to grow. Her advice to girls is to be honest with yourself and search for the things that you love to do. That will give you the key to a career that you will love.
