Watch Venu Gupta, Attorney, and Executive Director of the Chicago Committee on Minorities in Large Law Firms, share how one of the scariest things she has ever done was to muster the courage to leave a lucrative position at a law firm to purse her passion for social justice as the head of a nonprofit. She stresses the importance of maintaining good grades as a way for girls to demonstrate they have the desire and work ethic to succeed later in life. A high GPA can open doors, but a lower GPA can close them, or make the road a lot more difficult and expensive.
