Watch Claire Calmejane, computer engineer and Director of Innovation at Lloyd’s Banking Group in London, share how in her job she leads a $1.7 billion dollar initiative to implement her firm’s digital technology to better serve their customers. She started out as a coder who became interested in business, and has combined her education as a computer engineer with a master’s in business to create a trailblazing career in financial technology (fintech). As a leader in the field, she served as a scientist in residence at MIT and was one of the judges for their Inclusive Innovation Competition 2016. She is dedicated to helping more women and girls get into fintech with the Women of the Future mentoring program.
