Watch Yuriko Hattori, a Computer Science Professor at the Tsukuba University of Technology. What she finds most rewarding about her work is conducting academic research in Information and Communications Technology (ICT). In addition, she finds it satisfying to know that her research leads to new technology that benefits society and the world. Yuriko says that girls should consider careers in information engineering because it is the key to technology in today's modern world. Her advice to girls is to think about who they want to be ten years from now and consider the paths they need to take for themselves.
