Bio
Watch Tracy Mack-Askew, Vehicle Line Manager at General Motors, share how her father nurtured her love of math, and after an early visit to an automobile site to witness safety tests, she knew she wanted to be an automotive engineer. Today, test driving vehicles at the Proving Grounds is a favorite part of her job. Because it's so important how you treat people, she stresses it's critical to work on your interpersonal skills in addition to developing your technical abilities. Her advice is to work hard, shoot for the stars and commit to making your mark on the world.
