Sci-Fi Film Director

Watch Cidney Hue, a sci-fi director and filmmaker. She writes, directs and produces her own films, and also teaches filmmaking at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. As a director, she leads the creative vision of her entire team to execute her projects from the script onto the screen. The most rewarding part of her job is being able to tell stories that touch and resonate with people across the world. She says the film industry is a great choice for girls because there are so many opportunities for all types of skills to flourish. Her advice to girls is to build a community around what you love and find mentors that can share their experience and guide you in the right direction.
