Bio
Watch Denise Soler Cox, filmmaker and co-founder of Project Enye (ñ), share how persistence was the key to bringing her project to life. An “ñ” is a first-generation American-born Latino who has at least one parent from a Spanish-speaking country. The idea for this project came from her experience as a first generation latina and her desire to connect people whose lives have been shaped by having the same shared cultural experience of being from two different places. The result of her persistence is a multi-platform documentary project that includes a feature length documentary, a podcast, and an ongoing series of micro-docs which tell ñ stories on topics ranging from identity and language to family and assimilation.
