Google Manager

How to Become A: Executive

Watch Sue McCauley, Google Global Diversity Manager (Women@Google), share how in her career she has been able to use both the business skills she learned from working on Wall Street and the creative marketing skills she learned in the broadcast and digital entertainment industry. In her current position, she facilitates connections across Google, provides development opportunities for women, and represents Google in the community. Before this, she was an entertainment sponsorship engagement program manager, where she worked with YouTube content partners and YouTube celebrities to develop packages centered on large events like the Oscars or Super Bowl, that can be sold to advertisers and brands. Her advice to girls is to develop a "Board of Directors" of trusted people who will help support and guide you in your career.
