Watch Margaret Simms, Ph.D., Senior Fellow at the Urban Institute and Director of their Low Income Working Families Project, discuss the economic studies she and her colleagues have conducted and their impact on shaping public policy. An author and sought after policy expert, she was one of the first African Americans and females to get an advanced degree in economics from Stanford University.
