Watch Kendra McKinley, Musician, explain the dynamic nature of being a musician and why girls should consider a career in the arts. In her role, she gets to perform both original music and covers to live audiences. A big part of her daily work is writing music for different instruments, from guitar to string quartets. When Kendra isn't in the recording studio producing and recording music, she also works as a music teacher coaching a rock band and teaching songwriting to her students. Kendra finds the most rewarding part of her career is making music and sharing it with others. Her advice to girls is to dare themselves to be vulnerable. By expressing something they might consider to be a weakness, it might turn out to be their greatest strength!
