Bio
Watch Martina Adega, a field coordinator and nutritionist with Tiny Totos, a social enterprise in Nairobi, Kenya. She manages a team of community health volunteers who work with women who run informal daycares. Her work helps them to grow their businesses by training them on nutrition and early childhood development. The most rewarding part of her job is seeing the children become healthier, and their families become more stable through improvement in their daycare. Martina says girls should consider a career in youth development because the work is so fulfilling and allows you to grow and become a better person. Her advice to girls is that when you face challenges, it's crucial to find someone you trust to talk to and who will help guide you in the right direction.
